Can you give a brief introduction about yourself and your background? What led you down the path in becoming the awesome artist that you are?

My real name is Kuldip, I’m 23 and was born and raised in London England. I have always loved drawing from since I was a child. I have always been somebody who loves to create and turn boring bits of paper into something that people will go ‘wow’ at.  Art is just something that I find fascinating as it involves everything and anyone can do it.

Where does your creative inspirations come from and how do you keep your creative juices flowing?
My mum and dad are quite creative people so I guess it is just in the genes, however inspiration to remain creative is vital and I tend to read loads of comic books, play video games and read books. The story telling in each of these mediums keeps the mind thinking and also they are all forms of art in there own way. I am also inspired by looking at other artist work whether it be in a gallery or just browsing the web.

Self doubt sometimes stop people from trying new ventures. Did you have any doubts or challenges along the way? If so, how did you overcome them?
Yes of course, but I am somebody who believes I can do anything I put my mind too. I overcame obstacles by just remaining positive and believing in myself and my talent.

What advice or technique can you offer other aspiring artist just starting out?
Never lose your love for art no matter what the circumstances are, art will always be a way to express yourself.

Are those that you draw receptive to your work? Do any reach out to you?
Yes I have had quite a few people that I have drawn reach out to me who absolutely loved my work. To name a few, Neyo, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Azelea, Rihanna & Michael K Williams.

Of all the illustrations you’ve created, what would you say gave you the most enjoyment?
Difficult to say I enjoy doing them all, but recently I have been doing these vintage style portraits that I am really enjoying.

Do you have any current projects you’re working on and is there anyone you’d like to collaborate with?
I am working on creating my own original artwork, by original I mean not using reference images. It’s challenging but so rewarding. Would love to do collaboration with any street artist, just love street art.

When did you realize that you can turn your hobby into a business and what can we expect from you in the coming years?
I released about 6 months ago when I released I was making more money from my art then I was from my job. This year you can expect to see me get my clothing line more out there.

What’s been a defining moment in your career so far? What’s your ultimate goal regarding your work?

Defining moment so far has to be doing a piece of work for Neyo. My ultimate goal is to get my clothing line to become an established brand.
